Women Group vows to boost agriculture in Niger Delta region

The President and Founder of the Association of Niger Delta Women for Agricultural Development, Hon. Mrs. Princess Efe Ekpokpe, has reaffirmed her determination to promote agriculture in the Niger Delta region through massive empowerment in modern agricultural technology.

This was contained in a statement issued and made available to Tribune Online by the head of media affairs to the president, Miss Sera Ogodo. The statement disclosed that the founder of the Association made the remark during a stakeholders’ meeting of the Association in Warri, Delta State.

The statement emphasized the need for women to harness available opportunities, strength, creativity, and resilience to drive meaningful change in the Niger Delta region.

The Princess of the Niger Delta reiterated the Association’s vision of empowering women and transforming the agricultural landscape of the Niger Delta.

In her words, “Our association is committed to supporting and amplifying the voices of women in agriculture, and we are thrilled to have them as part of this journey.”
