Lagos followed, winning hearts for its affordability and diverse flavors, as 78% of locals describe the city’s food scene as “delicious.” Marrakech impressed as the third most affordable city for food and drinks, while locals highlighted its traditional and diverse cuisine. Cairo also made the list, earning a 90% approval rating for its varied culinary scene. Together, these cities showcase Africa’s vibrant gastronomy, blending bold flavors, affordability, and rich cultural heritage.
